The band performed as guests of Bay Brass on October 16 in Newton Abbot
The band played their concert on Saturday evening in Milber, Newton Abbot. It was the first with new musical director, Stephen Sykes.
The band were on top form and played brilliantly. They were well received by a sell-out audience who applauded loudly throughout.
The band ran their programme for the upcoming Wychavon Contest, where we will appear as the first Championship Band to compete there. History being made by the band yet again!
The highlight of the concert was a cornet solo by the band’s rising star, Megan Newbury, who delivered a faultless performance of The Paragon by E Sutton.
Our next performance will in fact be the Wychavon Contest.
