Our rising star Meghan Newbery attended the National Children’s Brass Band in Derbyshire under the musical directorship of Professor Nicholas Child’s from Black Dyke.
Following highly competitive auditions, the week-long residential course culminated in a concert for family, friends and the public.
As ever, the swcomms Band is proud of Meghan’s achievements and are thrilled to think we are playing a part in her musical development from humble beginnings in the Lympstone Training Band.
